NIGERIA

(TRADE NEWSWIRE): On October 20 2014, I published a Yoruba saying/ song which was sung by the Late Apala musician, Yusuf Olatunji, popularly known as (Babalegba), it goes thus:

Asa nb’eiyele sere, eiyele nyo eiyele nfiku sere………….
English meaning

While Eagle plays with pigeon, pigeon is happy not knowing that its playing with death………..

The posting was meant to warn the Federal Government on the Boko Haram ceasefire agreement, even though, I deliberately did not address it to the government.

Note:
- A ‘rightly constituted government’ must never and never trust terrorist agreement.

- When you make agreement with terrorist,  you must still attack them, infact,  I had expected the President to order the military to hit them immediately, I mean immediately after they had a ceasefire agreement with them at a meeting in Saudi Arabia as reported some weeks back, to prove THE SUPERIORITY OF A RIGHTLY CONSTITUTED GOVERNMENT’ and to also let the terrorist know that they are not respected at all, but reverse was the case and they (Boko Haram) scored a cheap point by first attacking Nigerians after the agreement, though it was claimed that it was not the real Boko Haram that did it, but  the authenticity of that is left for security agency to unravel.

-It is not that such agreement could not be respected, but if it is done with a fellow ‘rightly constituted government’ who are probably at war with one another, but mind you, terrorist, don’t respect agreement, they will surely break it, because they don’t respect you either until you do their wishes, because respect is reciprocal and as Yoruba will say ENI TO BA MO IYI WURA NI ANTA FUN, English meaning (You could only sell gold to the person that knows its value.

-Terrorist  believe that they are the only one that is right, if not, nobody is right.

-Government must continue to fire the terrorist and as you do that, you also continue to negotiate with them alongside and adopt other socio-economic strategies to put an end to the insurgency, but YOU MUST BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL.

I REST MY CASE.

May God Guide Our Leaders Right
NIGERIA SHALL BE GREAT
